Workshop: Tuesday, Sept. 17th – Wednesday, Sept. 18th, 2024 (8:30 am to 5 pm)
Field excursion: Thursday, Sept. 19th, 2024 (9 am to 3 pm; see registration link and agenda for more details)

This event is free to attend and will be held in a hybrid format; there will be in-person and online options.

FROM HOUSTON

Port Arthur is a 1-hour and 45-minute drive from Houston Intercontinental airport (IAH). There are several options for transport in between these two locations:

Taxi, Uber, Lyft - about $120 USD, approx. 2-hour journey (see https://www.fly2houston.com/iah/taxis-ride-apps)
Buses from IAH to Beaumont/Port Arthur, Texas - Jack Brooks Regional Airport (BPT): United Airlines 1-800-864-8331, and Sun Travel Airport Shuttle 1-409-721-9636, offer bus service between IAH and BPT (see https://www.fly2houston.com/iah/shuttles-buses)

There are daily flights on American Airlines from Dallas Forth Worth (DFW) International Airport to Jackson Brooks Regional Airport (BPT).
