Research Interests
My primary research interest is to understand the underlying geochemical and physical processes relating to the successful storage of CO₂ in depleted oil reservoirs.

Education & Background
M.S. Geology (2013) – Boston College. MS thesis focused on groundwater contamination from road salt in a public water supply well-field. Several hundred water samples were analyzed with IC and ICP in order to understand the hydrogeochemical processes relating road salt transport and fate.

Engineers in Action (La Paz, Bolivia 2010–2011) Volunteered on water and sanitation projects for rural Bolivians.

Royal Dutch Shell – Petrophysical Engineer (2008–2010) Worked on deepwater GoM well estimating pore pressure, analyzing well logs, and designing logging operations.

B.S. Petroleum Engineering (2008)—Louisiana State University

Current Projects
I am working Dr. Susan Hovorka and Dr. Michael Young as a Ph.D. aspirant on the role of methane in meeting energy demand, influencing climate change, and improving CO₂ storage.
